Our Houston home inspectors will shed light on any safety issues observed, deficiencies in workmanship noted, and repairs which may need to be performed. Our inspection report will provide you with a snapshot of the condition of the home to allow you to determine if the price you agreed to is reasonable.

First-time Home Buyers

The home buying process can be a confusing one your first time around. Our home inspector professionals will take the time and effort necessary to ensure you’re not confused.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Phase Construction Inspections”][vc_column_text]These are for home buyers who have opted to have their new home built. There are three inspections during the construction process: Phase 1 is a pre-pour inspection that is performed just before the slab is poured; Phase 2 is a framing inspection that is conducted right before the interior wall insulation and sheetrock are installed; and Phase 3 is the final inspection.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”1-year Warranty Inspections”][vc_column_text]Your builder gave you a 1-year warranty on your home, so make sure you take advantage of it. Before your warranty runs out, let us perform a thorough inspection, detailing any problems or issues that have arisen in the last year. This is the final opportunity to ensure the new home you have is sound, and unforeseen repair costs aren’t an issue.

No matter where you are in the home buying process, we have the service for you. Contact Premier Home Inspections at (832) 447-4444 to schedule your inspection today![/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Pool & Spa Inspections”][vc_column_text]Have a pool and spa? We can inspect that too. Just as a home inspection informs you about the condition of the home you are interested in purchasing, a pool inspection informs you about the condition of the pool. This service can be included with an initial inspection or it can be conducted independently.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Termite Inspections”][vc_column_text]When it comes to termites, there are only three types of houses in Texas:

• Those that have termites
• Those that will get termites
• Those that have had termites and will get them again

We will thoroughly inspect your home, looking for signs of termite infestation. We offer WDI or Real Estate Transfer reports. Some of the things we look for are:

• Mud tubes built for traveling above ground
• Damaged or hollow-sounding wood
• Pinholes in drywall or wallpaper
• Small piles of sawdust
• Piles of small wings
• Other specific termite indicators

* This inspection is conducted by a qualified third party and is billed separately. These inspections are not available without a residential home inspection. Any discounts/specials provided by Premier Home Inspections are not applicable for these inspections.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Well & Septic Inspections”][vc_column_text]The standards for private water wells are different than those for public wells. Home owners with their own wells will want to ensure proper inspection for water quality, as well as structural integrity. When a well is inspected, the inspector will be looking for certain water quality indicators and contaminants that may be present in the water. Contaminants can include human or animal excrement, nitrates, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). An inspector will also be testing the pH of the water. It is recommended to have an individually owned well inspected regularly, especially if you live in an area prone to flooding, notice changes in water quality, or live in an area where there are known problems with well systems.
